Cookie Policy

Last updated: 29 July 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on enqre.com and on the scan pages our customers create, and how you can control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies — such as localStorage — work the same way for our purposes and are covered by this policy.

2. Strictly necessary

These keep the service working and cannot be switched off. They include your session cookie (so you stay signed in), a CSRF/security token, your interface language choice, and the record of your cookie decision itself.

Under EU rules these do not require consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered.

3. Optional: retargeting pixels on scan pages

A customer can attach advertising pixels (for example Meta, Google Ads or LinkedIn) to their own QR code. Those pixels load on the scan page only after the visitor accepts them in the cookie banner.

If you decline, no pixel is loaded and no advertising identifier is set. Declining never blocks the content behind the QR code.

4. Analytics on our own pages

Our marketing pages load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HQKTG0NFT6) to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets its own cookies and is operated by Google.

It loads only after you accept cookies in the banner. Decline, and nothing from Google is requested at all — no script, no cookie. You can change your mind at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

We do not run advertising cookies of our own, and the dashboard has no third-party analytics. Scan statistics for your QR codes are produced on our servers from the request itself and rely on neither cookies nor fingerprinting.

5. Changing your choice

Accept and Decline are equally available in the banner, and nothing optional is set before you choose. You can change your decision at any time via the “Cookie settings” link, or by clearing site data in your browser.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; strictly necessary cookies are required for signing in.

6. Retention

Your cookie decision is stored for up to 12 months, after which you will be asked again. Session cookies expire when the session ends. Pixel lifetimes are set by the respective provider — see their policies for details.
