What a static QR code is

A static code encodes the destination directly in the black-and-white pattern. Scan it and the phone reads exactly what was printed — a URL, some text, Wi-Fi credentials, a phone number. The destination behind a printed campaign changes far more often than people expect — a landing page, an offer, a menu, a review link — and with a dynamic code that change never means reprinting. If you are printing at scale, dynamic is almost always the safer default.
